Designed by an architect with a love of nature, the Villa des Cagnes is an old hunting lodge built at the end of the 19th Century, in the heart of the Vallee des 3 Lacs.

Now lovingly restored to its original use, the Villa des Cagnes offers superb accommodation in individually styled rooms, each with en-suite bathroom and a panoramic view over the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Nature lovers will undoubtedly enjoy all that the Villa des Cagnes has to offer.

- Situated on the junction of several nature trails, visitors can walk in the shade of magnificent ancient oaks and sweet chestnut, along hedgerows of hawthorn and hazel by the banks of the river Creuse where buzzard, black kite and peregrine falcon fly.

- Other animals - cattle, fox , stone martin, squirrels, or even roe deer, may accompany your journey as you stroll on foot, ride on horseback or mountain bike through the countryside. Within the vicinity are many cottages built of local granite and you may also discover old stone churches.
