Champsanglard is a small village situated approximately 15kms from the N145 (A20 junction 23 Paris-Limoges motorway)  and is in the area of the 3 "Grand Lacs"  one of which is approximately 500 metres away, where you will be able to fish or let the children play.  
All commerce are 8km away in the town on Bonnat, where you will find restaurants, bakers, pharmacies and banks. This is the ideal setting for families and friends looking for tranquillity, comfort, friendly neighbours and lots of local activities.
This beautifully restored gite is  a Gite de France and is rated with 4 epis, and has been renovated to a very high standard and  is situated in the centre of the friendly village of Chambon. The rear garden extends to just over 1000 sq. metres and has far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Outside there is ample garden furniture,  BBQ and a terrace.
The heated swimming pool is situated in the barn attached to the house, and can be accessed from outside or from the door of the lounge, which has a childproof security lock.  The area surrounding the pool is decked for comfort and there are loungers for relaxing.
Within a short drive  you have a choice of 3 "Grand Lacs" all with a variety of sandy beaches, slides, water sports, cafes etc. geared to offer everything for the tourist. Horse-riding is 15km, golf 20kms. The whole area is one of rural charm with an abundance of mediaeval villages and small towns. Gueret, the Capital of La Creuse  is just 15kms away, where you will find  an excellent supply of good restaurants at reasonable rates.

The front door opens into a large lounge with wood burning stove, colour television and video player and the house has electric central heating for all year letting.

To the left is the kitchen/dining room which is tastefully equipped with top quality appliances.  You will find a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, and microwave, a farmhouse table and adequate seating.  A door leads from the kitchen to the terrace.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer situated in the pool house.

The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and consists of a bath, twin wash hand basins, and separate toilet.

Upstairs are 3 double bedrooms with one having an extra single bed, all furnished to a very high standard.

How Do I get there? 

 

The location of the Gite is 45km (45 mins) drive from the A20 (which is  the main route through from Paris to Toulouse).
You will need to exit at Junction 23.

By air there are now direct flights from Stansted Airport, London to Poitiers and also to Limoges, being operated by Ryanairlines
and there is car hire available at the airport.  Poitiers is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive away, and Limoges  is the same

Linen can be hired for 7 euros per 2 persons
If you require to have the gite cleaned at the end of the visit a  cleaning charge of 50 euros will be made.
Electric is included up to 8 kw of usage per day after which any extra will be charged at 12 centimes EURO  per kw.
A telephone is available to use upon purchase of a  Cejour Carte (French Telephone card)

Tourist tax has to be paid at the end of the stay
